Patty Obasi (1951 - 2012)

Patrick Obasi (also known as The Sower) was a prominent Igbo gospel artist from Mmaku in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. Having released his first album in 1980, he went on to release more than 15 studio albums over the lenght of his long and successful musical career.

The sower was said to have died of kidney failure in Enugu on the 27th of October 2012. He was the voice behind popular songs like “Bianu Ka Anyi Kele Jehova”, “Ezi Nwanyi Di Uko”, and many more.
